Is It Covered by Support at Home?

Yes. Physiotherapy and most allied health services are classified as Clinical services.

Clinical services are:

Fully government-funded (0% contribution)

Approved based on assessed medical need

Some related services may fall under Independence categories depending on purpose.

Is It Covered by CHSP?

CHSP may provide limited allied health services for lower-level support needs.

Availability and frequency may vary by region.

What If I Don’t Have Funding Yet?

Funding typically does not cover:

  • Non-clinical fitness training

  • General gym memberships

  • Cosmetic or elective treatments

  • Services unrelated to assessed care needs

  • All services must support your approved care plan.

Can I Choose My Own Physiotherapist?

If you are:

Provider-managed:
Your provider arranges allied health services through approved clinicians.

Self-managed:
You may have flexibility to engage registered physiotherapists directly, within program rules.
