Home care quote calculator

Put a provider quote into context.

Compare one provider's prices with the Australian Government's national Support at Home price summary, or put two provider quotes side by side.

Useful with one quoteYou do not need two providers before you can start.

The national price summary gives you a reference point for the same service.

Quote comparison

Compare a quote with national price data, or compare two providers.

Use the same services and weekly amounts for each provider. Government price data gives you context, not a verdict on whether a provider's price is reasonable.

What the quote looks like

Quarterly estimates use 13 weeks. Actual service schedules and billing periods can vary.

Provider estimated quarter$0Add a funding level to compare against budget.
Same services at national median prices$5,850Benchmark only. It is not a recommended price or price cap.

How to use this comparison

A price above the published range is not automatically unreasonable, and a price inside the range is not automatically reasonable. Ask what is included, whether travel or minimum visits apply, who will deliver the service, and what happens on weekends or public holidays.

About the benchmark

The government comparison uses the Australian Government Department of Health, Disability and Ageing national summary of Support at Home prices for services delivered from November to December 2025. It reports the national median and the middle 50% of claimed prices. The data combines metropolitan, regional and rural services and excludes weekend and public-holiday services.

Support at Home funding amounts shown here are current from 1 July 2026. Participant contribution estimates use the selected contribution situation and are separate from the provider's service price. The government can index funding and publish newer price summaries, so confirm important decisions against current official information, your Services Australia contribution advice and your provider's written price schedule.
